Clickety Sticks 

Messy Play – Messy play- explore a range of different textured foods to explored – honey, mouse/angel delight

Cognition activity  –  Play where is bear?

Hide a favourite bear under a cloth in front of your child.  Ask them “where is bear?” lift the cloth up to show the bear. Keep repeating the activity for as long as they are interested

Creative/Tactile  –  Click the symbol 

Try making a tactile board, it could be a simple as using blu tac to attach a range of fabrics and materials to your child’s work tray. Help them to locate the different materials and when they begin to show interest withdraw your support and allow them to explore.  Do you notice a favourite texture or material?

Nursery rhyme melody

Share the bbc school radio podcast with your child. It is full of familiar nursery rhymes. Look for reactions to their favourite tracks and ones they don’t like.  Please Email me to let me know there reactions.

Heat pad– screen changes colour depending how often they move their hands or keep their hand in one place. Lovely colour and encourages attention skills.

Finger paint– can use with or without music. As the children move their hands around the screen they touch different colours to make marks on the page.

Burp and fart– a funny piano app that makes burping and farting noises.

Easy Xylo – cause and effect xylophone

Drum kit– cause and effect drum

Bloom HD– a lovely relaxing app that encourages movement.
